Brady Johs

Shareholder

Born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota, Brady moved to Grand Forks to attend the University of North Dakota and has been there ever since. He currently lives with his wife, Brittany, who he married in 2014, and their three children, Jackson, Harper, and Jameson. Besides spending time with his family, Brady enjoys golfing, going to the lake, and cheering on his favorite teams—the UND hockey team and the Minnesota Vikings.

Brady has spent the entirety of his professional accounting career with Brady Martz—he joined the firm in 2011, right after graduating from college. As a senior manager, his focus lies in performing audits of governmental entities and providing both audit and tax work for construction contractors and other for-profit entities. Additionally, he is a member of the Brady Martz peer review team that reviews the quality of other CPA firms across the country.

An outgoing and approachable professional, Brady strives to always be accessible to his clients and colleagues. When it comes to client service, his primary aim is simple: “I want to get to know each of my clients well enough so that I understand their end goals and can assist them in developing the best road map to get there.” Brady was a college student in 2008 when he “watched the economy implode.” This experience inspired him to figure out what path would offer him the best chance for stability upon graduation—he settled on accounting. Brady attributes his career success to a combination of the support of his family at home and the values instilled in him by his parents.
