Born and raised in Minot, North Dakota, David loves that working for Brady Martz has allowed him to settle down in his hometown. He and his wife, Mandie, have two sons, Brayden and Reece, and two dogs named Bailey and Cubbie. They enjoy living in North Dakota because of the small towns and small-town communities. In his free time, David enjoys playing sports, exercising, and skiing (both on the water and in the snow). He also enjoys cheering on his favorite baseball team, the Chicago Cubs, and visiting the mountains.
After graduating from college, David spent two years living and working in Minneapolis before moving back home to Minot and joining the Brady Martz team in 2007. He joined the firm as an associate and steadily worked his way up through the ranks, serving as a senior associate and then as a manager before stepping into his current role. As a senior manager with the firm, David performs exclusively tax work, with a particular specialization on trust and estate engagements.
Though he is quiet and laid back, David is also a determined hard worker. His primary goal is simple: “Do the best for my clients to help them succeed.” David’s calm focus, hard work, and unwillingness to quit are the keys to his success. His work ethic is well summed up by his favorite quote: “I choose to thrive because God demands it, my family deserves it, and the world is starved for it.”
