Jason is a seasoned wealth consultant with more than two decades of experience in financial planning and wealth management. As a shareholder, he specializes in helping clients identify their personal life goals and develop strategies to build, manage, and transfer their wealth.

Jason began his career in 2000 and has worked with some of the industry’s leading firms, including 14 years at Wells Fargo Advisors, four years at USBancorp Investments, and seven years at Avantax Planning Partners. He joined Brady Martz as a shareholder in 2024, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in comprehensive financial planning. Known for his easy-going and approachable nature, Jason is passionate about offering personalized financial guidance to help clients navigate major life transitions.

A graduate of Dickinson State University with a bachelor’s degree, Jason also holds the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA) designation and a Series 7 securities license. He attributes his success to persistence, hard work, and his belief that “if you do what’s right, things will work out.”

Born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota, Jason continues to call it home with his wife, three children, and two dogs. He enjoys traveling, especially to warm and scenic destinations, cooking, cycling, and spending time outdoors. A dedicated Minnesota Vikings fan, he also has a love for music, coffee, history, and classic cars.

Jason’s career has provided him with a deep perspective on life’s many financial and personal challenges, from wealth management to unexpected life events. A unique experience that defines him? A vacation to Mexico that ended with him adopting a dog. Additionally, he holds an FAA A&P license as a certified aircraft mechanic. He finds inspiration in the words from The Shawshank Redemption: “Get busy living or get busy dying.”
