Born and raised in Minot, North Dakota, Ryan continues to live in his hometown to this day. He and his wife, Sarah, have been married since 2007. They have three children—Harper, Georgia, and Palmer—and two Jack Russell Terriers named Calvin and Lucy. In addition to spending time with his family, Ryan likes to spend his free time golfing, hanging out at the lake, traveling (especially to sporting events!), and attending concerts. When he has the opportunity to travel, Ryan’s favorite destination is Las Vegas.
After graduating from college in 2006, Ryan spent two years working in audit and assurance at a Big Four firm. In 2008, he joined the Brady Martz team. Ryan worked hard to rise through the ranks to his current role, shareholder. He is the firm’s financial institutions industry lead and also works on the construction industry team. Ryan specializes in performing attest and consulting work for financial institutions and attest, consulting, and tax work for construction and other various types of closely held entities.
It is not surprising that Ryan joined the Brady Martz team—it runs in the family. Ryan’s father was a CPA and shareholder at the firm for many years, and his younger brother, Tyler, also spent some time working for the firm. Ryan’s firm commitment to both work and his family help him to remain focused on the things important to him. He really enjoys listening to clients describe their businesses, what fuels them, and how the firm can help. He loves the opportunity to spend time in person with his clients. He is committed to doing whatever it takes to completing successful projects and fulfilling his clients’ needs.
