Scott Hasbrouck

Raised in Crookston, Minnesota, Scott currently lives in Thompson, North Dakota. He is an avid college football fan and loves cheering on the Minnesota Golden Gophers at every opportunity, including traveling for the away games.

Scott joined Brady Martz in 2003 and has spent the entirety of his professional accounting career with the firm. Prior to 2003, he spent 15 years as a transactional attorney, serving in the areas of business and tax planning, estate planning, and real estate. He pivoted into the accounting sphere and has spent the last 17 years assisting clients with complex federal, state, and international tax issues. Scott serves a wide range of individual, business, and industry clients and is the firm’s technical tax leader.

The ability to perform complex analysis makes Scott a huge asset to his clients. When the firm encounters a complicated tax situation, he is the go-to team member to handle it. Scott’s favorite quote comes from Ronald Reagan and speaks to his outlook on life: “There is no limit to the amount of good you can do if you don’t care who gets the credit.” For Scott, it is all about helping his clients achieve successful results.
