Tahnee Magnus

Shareholder

Tahnee grew up in Langdon, North Dakota, the oldest child in her family. She moved to Bismarck in 2005 and currently lives there with her husband, Nick, their sons, Nicholas and Branson, and their pets—a dog, a cat, and numerous salt-water fish. Tahnee enjoys living in Bismarck because it has nicer weather than her hometown. She also likes the community of the city and the fact that it is centrally located among a lot of her family and in-laws. She loves traveling home to visit whenever she has the chance, and she wants to go back to Alaska and catch more halibut. Outside of the office, Tahnee likes to spend time with her family and friends, run, fish, boat, and cheer on her favorite sports teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Edmonton Oilers.

After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, Tahnee went into private accounting, working as a financial accountant for a food company. In 2009, she completed all requirements for her CPA designation, earning the North Dakota Top Performer on CPA Exam award in the process. In 2011, Tahnee moved into the public accounting sector, joining the Brady Martz team as an associate. She became a shareholder in 2019 and currently focuses on providing audit and attest services to clients in the construction industry. Additionally, she works in the employee benefit plans industry and is working on developing a forensic accounting focus.

Tahnee is meticulous and organized in her work. She strives to be her clients’ go-to person and trusted advisor. She was first introduced to accounting in high school and immediately took to it. She attributes her success in the accounting field to a combination of hard work, attention to detail, organization, and commitment to providing the best service possible to her clients.
