In 2007, Cheri established her professional accounting career by joining the team at Fiebiger, Swanson, West & Co. (FSW). By 2019, when FSW merged with Brady Martz, she had risen to the rank of Principal. In this role, Cheri works with both local and regional businesses in a variety of industries, with a focus on the health care, real estate, and manufacturing sectors. She specializes in performing tax and business planning, tax preparation, succession planning, and IRS and state tax representation.

As Cheri sees it, her primary role is simple: helping her clients and her team succeed. She is focused and driven in pursuit of this mission. Her favorite quote is a good summary of her perspective when it comes to work: “Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.”

Cheri was raised in Long Prairie, Minnesota and currently lives in Fargo, North Dakota. She was inspired to pursue a career in accounting because the field “just clicked” for her. She credits her success to the great mentors and coaches she has had over the years.
