After graduating in 1990, David joined a small Minnesota accounting firm and served there for 12 years. He took over ownership of the firm from 2004 until 2011. In 2011, David and his colleagues joined Brady Martz. Today, he serves the Firm as a Principal providing financial planning and tax services across several industries.

David’s clients enjoy working with him because he is approachable and always willing to help. He strives to treat people the way he would like to be treated. David is motivated by the desire to help people – it’s for this reason he entered the accounting field in the first place. He attributes his career success to starting at a small firm and being a small business owner. This experience gave David wide exposure to different aspects of business that helped him relate to many of the challenges that small businesses face.

Born and raised in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, David still lives in his hometown to this day.
