Eric was first inspired to pursue accounting when his high school class had a guest speaker who was a CPA. Now, after a professional career spanning 25 years, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors and market segment lead in the Sioux Falls/Marion marketplace. Eric attributes his success to developing many personal relationships and learning from others. In his daily work, Eric provides tax and business advisory for family-owned businesses. He specializes in working with clients in the construction, hospitality, real estate, and professional services industries. He is known as a collaborative individual, who tries to bring value to every conversation.

Eric and his wife, Cara, are the proud parents of five children – Gerrit, Luke, Ezra, Naomi, and Ciella. They reside in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with their dog, a Poochon named Moose. When he isn’t at work, he enjoys spending time with family, reading constantly, hitting the gym, and volunteering. Originally from California, Eric roots for the L.A. Dodgers. While he once won a trip to Hawaii on a game show, Eric’s favorite place to visit is still Huntington Beach.
