Jay has devoted the entirety of his professional accounting career to serving on the Brady Martz team. He joined the Firm in 2000, shortly after graduating from college. In his capacity as a Senior Manager, Jay works in the Firm’s Audit & Attestation Department. He specializes in performing audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of governmental and non-governmental clients. Additionally, he offers non-attest services for electric cooperatives, Tribal governments and businesses, Tribal casinos, school districts, and retail.

Jay’s extensive knowledge and strong organizational skills make him an asset to both his clients and the Firm. His chief goal is to provide timely and precise deliverables for his clients. Jay chose to pursue a career in the accounting field because he has always been good with numbers and enjoyed working with them. He attributes his career success to his strong work ethic.

Born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Jay enjoys living in his hometown because the people there are hard-working and kind to others.
