Raised in the small town of Buffalo, North Dakota, and now living in Corinth, Texas, Heather is the oldest of four girls. Her father ran a trucking company while her mother managed the books – early lessons in diligence and commitment that shaped Heather’s strong work ethic. “I learned about sacrifice and hard work from them,” she shares. “And the importance of finishing what you’ve committed to doing.”

Heather began her accounting career with Brady Martz in 2000 and has grown within the Firm ever since. Starting as an Associate, she advanced through the roles of Senior Associate and Manager before assuming her current position as Senior Manager. Her work focuses on business and individual tax, nonprofit taxation, 1031 exchanges, and multi-state tax engagements. She is a go-to expert on 1031 exchanges.

Known for her reliability and dedication, Heather describes her philosophy of service as “being worthy of our clients’ continued trust as we help them navigate through the many phases of their lives.”
