Jon serves as Assurance Leader at Brady Martz, where he oversees the Firm’s assurance practice, focusing on technical quality, operational consistency and the development of assurance expertise. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Jon works with the Firm’s Government and Nonprofit industry groups, providing assurance services to cities, school districts, special districts, and nonprofit organizations. He specializes in governmental accounting standards and reporting, as well as Single Audits.

Jon joined Brady Martz in 2026 after spending 20 years as a partner, audit leader, and member of the executive committee at a Minnesota accounting firm. Throughout his career, he has built extensive experience in assurance services and leadership, bringing a steady, thoughtful approach to supporting clients and colleagues. In his current role, he works to strengthen consistency and quality across offices while helping partners and teams continue to grow their assurance practices.

Known for his calm, steady presence and family-oriented nature, Jon values dedication and perseverance. His service philosophy centers on being as helpful as possible, whether that means guiding clients through complex reporting requirements or supporting colleagues in delivering quality work. His interest in business operations and natural aptitude for numbers helped draw him to accounting, where he built a career combining technical expertise with a commitment to serving others.

Jon was born and raised in Little Falls, Minnesota, where he continues to live with his wife, their three sons, and their two dogs and two cats.
