Melissa joined the firm in 2015 and currently serves as a Senior Manager for Brady Martz. She specializes in providing audit and assurance services to financial institutions and employee benefit plans. She works with banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions, conducting financial statement audits and loan file reviews to help clients evaluate credit quality, strengthen internal controls, and meet regulatory requirements. Melissa also provides audit services for defined contribution, defined benefit, and employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), assisting plan sponsors with their financial reporting and compliance obligations.

Since joining the firm, Melissa has developed extensive experience serving clients in these specialized industries. With a strong understanding of auditing standards, internal controls, and industry-specific regulations, she partners with clients to identify risks, improve processes, and navigate complex accounting and compliance requirements. Melissa is committed to delivering high-quality service through responsiveness, technical expertise, and attention to detail, providing practical insights and dependable guidance that support her clients’ financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and long-term success.

Melissa is a lifelong North Dakotan who grew up in Pick City and has remained rooted in central North Dakota. She now lives in Minot and enjoys serving clients throughout the region while building lasting relationships within the community she calls home. Her strong connection to the area allows her to bring a personal understanding and commitment to the organizations and communities she serves.
