Senior Manager

Originally from Prosser, Washington, Alex moved to Dickinson, North Dakota to attend college and has been there ever since. She loves the amazing support system that has developed since she’s been in Dickinson. Alex and her husband, Mike, have two daughters. They also have three dogs named Shadow, Ted, and Ember. Alex’s hobbies include gardening, hiking, kayaking, running, reading, knitting, and eating. She also enjoys making sourdough bread from scratch.

Alex spent four years working in private accounting before joining the Brady Martz team in 2016. Today, she serves as a senior manager for the firm and as the Director of Client Advisory Services in the Brady Martz Small Business Services (SBS) department. She spends most of her time troubleshooting different businesses’ new and existing technologies and figuring out how to get them to work together in the most efficient way. She also oversees and implements the outsourced controller and advisory services that the firm provides. Alex is a well-known professional in the Dickinson business community. In 2018 she was included on the Dickinson Press “30 Under 30” list and in 2019 she was named the Dickinson Rotarian of the Year.

A tenacious and helpful professional, Alex seeks to always be present, be bold, and be kind. Her willingness to try new things and ask “dumb” questions are two of the keys to her career success. Alex was inspired to pursue a career in the accounting field by the balancing aspects of debits and credits, which very much appealed to her.
