Todd Van Dusen

CEO

Originally from Glendive, Montana, Todd currently lives in Minot, North Dakota. He and his wife, who he has known since the second grade, have been married for more than three decades. They have two sons and a dog. Todd enjoys Minot for the size of the community and the people who live and work there. It is a great place to have raised his family, to work, and to play. In his free time, Todd likes to visit his lake home where he enjoys fishing, sitting on the deck, and boating. He also enjoys bike riding, going for walks with his wife, and spending quality time with his family.

Todd has been a member of the Brady Martz team since 1989; he has spent his entire professional accounting career with the firm. He currently serves as the firm’s president, providing strategic direction and ensuring that the organization has the resources and systems needed to execute its vision. As a firm leader, Todd is passionate about helping others succeed—both firm clients and the Brady Martz team.

When asked to describe his personal philosophy of service, Todd said, “In a nutshell, focus on others.” His success and joy stem from helping others with what matters most to them. Early on in his career, Todd found himself on an engagement where he was over his head. A partner in the firm took Todd under his wing and coached him through the situation, which taught Todd important lessons about what it means to truly care and be a good mentor. Todd has drawn on this example and striven to emulate it throughout his career.
