Brett Kosel

Senior Manager

Brett is a Senior Manager specializing in accounting and auditing services with a strong focus on employee benefit plans, construction, real estate, and other for-profit entities. He also provides business and individual tax services. Brett quickly worked his way up in the Firm, beginning with Brady Martz as an intern in 2016 and growing to his current position. Outside of work, Brett is an active member of the professional organizations, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Dakota CPA Society (NDCPAS).

Currently residing in Grand Forks, ND, Brett enjoys the small-town charm combined with the amenities of a larger city. He has a deep appreciation for the outdoors, indulging in activities like golfing, hunting, foraging for morel mushrooms, and visiting national or state parks. Brett’s family consists of his wife, Brianna, their daughter, Kensley, a son, Wyatt, and a goldendoodle named Ike. Brett’s favorite quote, “Comparison is the thief of joy” by Theodore Roosevelt, guides his outlook on life, encouraging him to appreciate his own journey.
