Jeremy Ulmer

Jeremy grew up on a farm near Fullerton, North Dakota. These days, he lives with his wife, Tosha—who was his high school sweetheart—and their three children, Tory, Christian, and Ryder, in Fargo. He is thankful that his parents also live in Fargo—as he and his family enjoy spending time with them at Big Pine Lake. Jeremy likes Fargo for its great business environment, its proximity to the Minnesota lakes, and the people, who he says, “are grounded and have great work ethic.” Outside of the office, his hobbies include working out, road cycling, and mountain biking.

After graduating from college in 1997, Jeremy was hired by Fiebiger, Swanson, West & Co. PLLP (FSW). He spent his entire career there, working his way up to partner in 2010. In 2019, Jeremy joined Brady Martz as a shareholder via its merger with FSW. He currently serves as the Fargo office lead on employee benefit plan audits and related questions—he is currently the only audit partner in his office who has a tax list that includes both individuals and businesses, including nonprofits and 5500s. Jeremy works with many nonprofit clients and also specializes in performing uniform guidance audits.

A well-balanced professional, Jeremy is certainly a great asset to the Brady Martz team. He is involved with many facets of the business and handles many different clients. Jeremy’s personal philosophy of service is to always do his best and act with high integrity. Jeremy’s favorite quote is “Do something every day that scares you.” He strives to stick to it in his daily life. Jeremy believes that his career success stems from hard work, putting in the time to learn new things, and following in the footsteps of the founding partners of FSW.
