Trent Prins

Trent joined the firm in 2005 and has nearly 23 years of experience in public accounting. Prior to that, he spent four years in private accounting for the broadcast industry. His work focuses on audit and attest services for clients in the construction and development, manufacturing, nonprofit, retail, and transportation industries. Trent attributes his success to hard work, having excellent mentors, and his personal service philosophy: “Treat others how I’d like to be treated.”

Trent lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with his wife Melissa, three sons – Austin, Tyler, and Jackson – and their dog, Sadie. In his free time, he enjoys being with family, boating, riding motorcycles, and golfing. Originally from Edgerton, Minnesota, Trent cheers for all Minnesota sports teams. His favorite vacation destination is the Caribbean.
